Product Development,
End to End.
Bringing a product to market is more than one print. From first sketch to a shippable batch, Orbit3D carries the whole additive-manufacturing journey — design, prototyping, validation and production — under one roof in Dubai.
Four Stages, One Continuous Pipeline
Most providers own one stage and hand you off at the seams. We keep the whole path in-house, so nothing is re-engineered between steps.
1. Design
Concept to print-ready CAD in SolidWorks, Fusion 360 and Rhino — from sketches, photos or a physical sample via 3D scanning.
2. Prototype
Testable parts in days for form, fit and function — iterate freely before committing. See prototype development.
3. Validate
Refine against real-world testing — materials, tolerances and finish confirmed on actual parts, not screens.
4. Produce
Move straight into low-volume production on the same technologies — and use bridge parts to sell while tooling is made.
Teams Taking Something to Market
One Partner, No Handoff Gaps
Continuity
Design, prototype and production share one team and one dataset — no costly re-engineering between vendors.
Capital-Light
No tooling and flexible batch sizes — validate demand before you invest in moulds.
Speed to Market
Compress months of back-and-forth into weeks — iterate, validate and ship without leaving Dubai.
Confidential by Default
Pre-patent and proprietary products stay private. We sign your NDA before any files change hands.
Where We're the Right Partner
- Polymer products — consumer, medical, industrial
- Low-to-mid volumes, or bridge-to-tooling runs
- Products needing fast iteration and customisation
- Startups validating before committing capital
When to Look Elsewhere
- Mass production beyond ~1,000 identical units — that's injection moulding
- Metal end-use parts (we run polymers)
- Certified/regulated medical devices — we make the models, not the implant
Product Development — Common Questions
Do you handle the whole product, or just printing?
The whole additive journey — design, prototyping, validation and production — in one place. You can join at any stage; most product teams start at design or prototype.
I only have an idea, no CAD. Can you still help?
Yes. Our design team builds print-ready CAD from sketches, descriptions or reference photos, and 3D scanning digitises any physical sample you already have.
How do I go from prototype to selling products?
Once a design is validated, it moves straight into low-volume production on the same technologies. For larger volumes we'll advise honestly when injection moulding becomes cheaper — and can bridge-manufacture to keep you selling while tooling is made.
Will my product idea stay confidential?
Completely. We routinely work with pre-patent and proprietary products and are happy to sign your NDA before any files are shared.
