Spatial Understanding, in Your Hand

Medical &
Anatomical Models.

A scan on a screen is information; a physical model is understanding. Orbit3D prints anatomical, surgical-planning and dental models — and medical-device prototypes — from your scan or CAD data, for clinicians, researchers and device developers across the UAE.

What We Print for Medical Teams

Models That Do a Job

Every model here communicates, plans or tests something — it is never a device that goes into a patient. That boundary is deliberate, and we hold it firmly.

Anatomical Models

Patient-specific anatomy from CT/MRI scan data — for study, communication and consent.

Surgical-Planning Models

Rehearsal and planning aids that let a team see and hold the case before theatre.

Dental & Orthodontic Models

Accurate working models from intraoral scans — turned around fast when the clinic needs them.

Medical-Device Prototypes

Form, fit and function prototypes for device developers — everything up to, but not including, regulated production.

What We Make

  • Anatomical & surgical-planning models
  • Dental and orthodontic working models
  • Medical-device prototypes (form / fit / function)
  • Training, education and patient-communication models

What We Don't — and Won't Pretend To

  • Implants or anything placed inside a patient
  • Clinical appliances that go in the mouth (certified dental labs' work)
  • Regulated, patient-contact medical devices

Why we're this strict: implants and patient-contact devices are regulated products made under medical-device controls by certified manufacturers. Claiming otherwise would be a trust — and safety — failure. We make the models and prototypes that support that work, and we'll point you to the right certified partner for the regulated part.

Scan to Model

Precision Where It Matters Most

Healthcare & medical industry

From Scan or CAD

DICOM/CT/MRI-derived meshes, intraoral scans or CAD — converted to clean, print-ready models.

Fine-Detail Resin

High-resolution SLA for crisp anatomy and dental detail; tough nylon where a model must survive handling.

Fast Where It Counts

Dental and planning models jump the queue when the case calls for it — lead times tailored to the clinical schedule.

Confidential by Default

Patient and device data is handled privately and used only to produce your models.

Where the Line Sits

What We Print for Medical — and What We Won't

We print the models around the treatment: anatomical and dental study models from scan data, planning and rehearsal models for surgical teams, teaching pieces, and form-fit-function prototypes for device developers working towards a design freeze. What we do not print is anything that goes into a patient. Implants, clinical appliances and patient-contact devices are regulated products that must be made by a certified medical device manufacturer — we are not one, and we will tell you that before you spend anything rather than after.

FAQ

Medical Models — Common Questions

Do you make implants or devices that go inside a patient?

No — and we won't imply otherwise. Implants and patient-contact devices are regulated products made under medical-device controls by certified manufacturers. We produce anatomical models, surgical-planning aids, dental models and device prototypes, and we'll refer you to the right certified partner for the regulated part.

Can models be patient-specific?

Yes — anatomical and surgical-planning models are built directly from that patient's CT/MRI or intraoral scan data, so the model reflects the individual's actual anatomy.

What materials are medical models printed in?

Usually high-resolution resin for anatomical and dental detail, and tough nylon where a training model must survive repeated handling. These are model-grade materials — not certified for implantation or long-term patient contact, which is a separate regulated category.

How fast can I get a dental or planning model?

Dental and surgical-planning models are among our fastest jobs — send the scan with your deadline and we plan the build around the case, with the turnaround confirmed in your quote.
